Blast hole drill factory audit

   29 Jul 2013

One of our project managers has made a third visit to the US factory of a multinational drill manufacturer to conduct MDG15 and MDG41 compliance audits on a prototype blast hole drill. MDG15 and MDG41 are guidelines that set out the safety requirements for the design, manufacture and operation of Mobile and Transportable equipment for use in New South Wales mines.

This visit focused on assisting the design team to overcome areas of non-compliance in regard to access issues. MPE have been pleased to see continuous improvement in the level of compliance and the understanding of Australian mine site expectations with each successive visit.
